Training Overview
1️⃣ What Makes Your Dog Tick? Discover what truly motivates your dog; food, toys, praise or play. I'll also talk about how to use this in training. We'll also cover the supplies you need to get the most out of the training.
2️⃣ Start the Indication. Learn the first steps to teaching your dog how to tell you they’ve found something.
3️⃣ Search Time! Begin teaching simple treat searches and choose clear cues to set your training up for success.
4️⃣ Sharpen the Indication. Add another layer to your dog’s alert behaviour and reinforce what a ‘find’ looks like.
5️⃣ Take It Outside. Bring scentwork into your walks with real-world food and toy searches that boost engagement.
By the end of the week, your dog will be confidently searching and beginning to understand how to signal a ‘find’. You’ll have simple tools to keep their brain busy and their tail wagging,and you’ll both be building a stronger bond through joyful, nose-powered teamwork

I'm a crocs wearing, treat bag toting, bobble-hatted dog training nerd. Like, properly geeky. I started teaching scentwork in 2017, and it's still one of my favourite activities to do with my dogs.
Along with Ripley and Peak, I like helping people to find out of the box solutions to their day to day training challenges.
Will there be replays?
Yes, the replay of the daily live training and Q&A will be uploaded to as soon as possible after the session ends. You'll get an email with the link as soon as it's ready. You will have until Tue 12th Aug to watch all the training (unless you opt for the VIP pass)
How much is the training?
The training is FREE. You will be offered the option of buying an optional VIP pass that gives you lifetime access to the training.
I don't have any special equipment, can I still join in?
Absolutely. When you register you'll get details of the items you'll need to join in, but chances are you already have most of it at home already!
I have a puppy/injured dog/older dog - is this training suitable for them?
Yes! Scentwork is suitable for all ages and breed of dog - prepare to be surprised at their abilities You may need to make adjustments depending on your individual dog's physical capabilities, but I'll talk about that in the training as needed (and you can always ask questions)
Each activity is explained step by step with the reminder that it does not matter if you have to go back and recap
