Compass Canine is a purpose built hydrotherapy centre based in Totnes, Devon.  We use hydrotherapy to help your dog regain strength and mobility following surgery, as well utilising the qualities of water to improve the blood flow in the body.  Hydrotherapy can have many benefits to your dog; providing pain relief as well as improving tone and fitness levels.

In conjunction with vet treatment and physiotherapy, hydrotherapy can significantly improve the rate and quality of healing for your dog following injury or surgery.  Incorporating hydrotherapy in to the rehabilitation program can increase the chance of a successful return to full fitness for your dog.  Vet consent is required prior to treatment.

Get in touch to discuss your needs, and book your dog's hydrotherapy appointment:

I am proud to be a member of the Institute of Canine Hydrotherapists, so you can be assured of the standard of treatment that your pet will receive.

There are many common conditions that can benefit from hydrotherapy.

Tor the lurcher in the hydrotherapy pool

Whilst swimming, most of the muscles used for everyday movement are involved, but joint stress from hard ground is avoided.  This helps to reduce pain and allows easier movement for your dog.  Swimming can be beneficial for rehabilitation, weight loss or general fitness.

Prices start from £30

About Me

Over the past 25 years of dog ownership, I have developed an interest in canine fitness and doing all that I can with my dogs to keep them in peak condition.  Having been made redundant from my career of twenty years, I decided to take my working life in a completely new direction.

I completed my Level 3 Certificate in Small Animal Hydrotherapy with Hawksmoor, and am very excited to be running my own rehabilitation and wellbeing centre in Totnes, Devon offering hydrotherapy and more.  I have now qualified as a Certified Professional Canine Fitness Trainer (CPCFT), and will be offering a range of fitness training options.

I am a Scentwork UK trainer, judge and trial manager and run regular classes and workshops.
